DESCRIPTION:This tasting has now sold out.  To be added to the waiting list\, please contact Tom on tbrady@oxfordwine.co.uk \nPresented by: Emily Silva and Bradley Horne \nTogether with our friends at Cecchi\, we are running a free virtual tasting and quiz\, for your chance to win a trip to Tuscany!   \nParticipants will receive four numbered miniature bottles of Cecchi wines\, whose identity is top secret. At the event\, hosted via Zoom\, OWC’s Emily Silva and co-host Bradley Horne (aka @winetimelondon) will guide you through an overview of Tuscan wine\, from the history and legends\, right up to modern-day developments in Chianti and Chianti Classico. We’ll also discover the coastal vineyards in Maremma\, and our hosts will explain more about Tuscany’s key grape varieties\, Sangiovese\, Vermentino and others.   \nThen we go straight into the quiz\, where 12 multiple choice questions will test the knowledge and recall of all the guests. Guests give their answers via a smartphone app called Kahoot!\, and scores are updated throughout the quiz. The final questions are based on the blind wines which have been delivered\, for added challenge! The quiz is mostly about paying attention during the session\, though\, so you don’t need to be a Master of Wine to take part!  \nThe overall winner will be awarded an amazing weekend for two to visit the vineyards of Cecchi in Tuscany\, including flights\, accommodation and car hire.  \nFor any questions\, contact Emily Silva on emily@oxfordwine.com

DESCRIPTION:Following in the footsteps of our immensely successful monthly virtual wine tastings\, this month the spirit lovers are getting in on the act. Hosted in collaboration with the team at Plantation\, we’ll be taking you through a selection of five different rums produced across the world. \nWe’ll begin with an ode to the Isle of Fiji followed by a special XO edition. Next it’s dark rum infused with pineapple and a classic dry Jamaican example bursting with funky flavours. Finally we’ll end our tour in Barbados with an elegant\, suave and delightfully tropical 5 year old. \nBy ordering the tasting pack with us you’ll receive a sample bottle (25ml) of each rum and automatically be signed up for the tasting.
