SUMMARY:SOLD OUT - The Oxford Wine Fair
DESCRIPTION:This event has now sold out. To be added to the waiting list\, please contact Emily Silva on emily@oxfordwine.co.uk \nThe Oxford Wine Fair is back for another year\, and better than ever! We will be welcoming over twenty of our favourite wineries to the gorgeous Oxford Town Hall\, bringing over 100 amazing wines for you to sample. As ever a solid grounding in classics will be complemented by a number of slightly more weird and wonderful options.  \nEach table at this walk-around tasting will be dedicated to a specific producer or region\, with several of our friends flying in from their wineries to make sure you get the inside scoop on their winemaking philosophy. There will be plenty of supplementary information on hand for the wine geeks amongst you – although the event is also very much suitable for those who just enjoy a glass of something delicious. \nYour ticket price gets you entry to the fair\, as well as an unlimited number of wine samples. We will also be offering all the wines on show at a specially discounted price should you wish to take the opportunity to fill up your wine rack. \nWe are once again offering two sessions: 15:30-17:30 (£25) and 18:00-21:00 (£35). The later session does tend to get rather busy so we would recommend going for the early session should you desire a quieter tasting experience! \nWe are very much looking forward to this event – we’ll see you there! \nFor any questions\, please contact Emily Silva on emily@oxfordwine.co.uk. \nBook Now – Early SessionBook Now – Late Session

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT Masterclass: Shades of Tuscan Sangiovese with Andrea Cecchi
DESCRIPTION:This tasting is now sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list\, please email emily@oxfordwine.com \nJoin us for an exclusive evening of discovery as renowned Tuscan winemaker Andrea Cecchi guides us through the rich and varied expressions of Sangiovese\, Tuscany’s signature grape. \nAs Italy’s most widely planted red grape\, Sangiovese is the backbone of some of the country’s most iconic wines. In this masterclass\, we’ll explore six distinct expressions from three celebrated Tuscan regions. We’ll explore the coastal vibrancy of Morellino di Scansano\, the finesse and fragrance of Chianti Classico\, and the bold ageworthiness of Brunello di Montalcino. Through these wines\, we’ll delve into the influence of terroir\, winemaking techniques\, and tradition\, and how each element shapes the final character in the glass. \nFounded in 1893\, the Cecchi estate is a pioneer of Tuscan winemaking. As a native Tuscan and a true expert in Sangiovese\, Andrea Cecchi brings unparalleled insight and passion to this tasting. We can’t imagine a better guide for this exploration. \nThis promises to be a fantastic evening of learning\, tasting\, and conversation. Tables of 4. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook Now

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT - Masterclass: Cos d'Estournel
DESCRIPTION:We are honoured to present you with the opportunity to attend a very special tasting this June. Baptiste Belly of the prestigious Bordeaux estate Cos d’Estournel will be visiting The Jericho Wine Rooms to host a masterclass featuring seven wines from the estate. \nWe will taste two vintages each of G d’Estournel\, Pagodes de Cos\, and of course the Cos d’Estournel Grand Vin. We’ll also taste the Château Cos Labory 2018. \nOur host Baptiste is a native of Corrèze\, France\, who grew up in the heart of an ancient wine-growing region\, where his grandfather cultivated hybrid grape varieties. His passion for wine first took root during his business studies in Germany\, sparked by a classic moment: being ‘the French guy’ asked to bring the wine to an international dinner. That simple gesture ignited a lifelong curiosity for the stories\, culture\, and craft behind every bottle. \nFollowing a formative experience as a winegrower with the Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France\, Baptiste honed his craft over three years at Château Pipeau in Saint-Émilion. Thanks to his dedication and perseverance\, he joined the prestigious estates of Cos d’Estournel and Cos Labory at just 27 years old\, taking on the role of European and UK Sales Manager. \nThis promises to be a fascinating and delicious tasting. With very limited tickets available\, we recommend booking quickly! \nStay in the loop!\n[vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html]

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT Masterclass: Calera Estate - Pioneers of Californian Pinot Noir
DESCRIPTION:This event is now sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list\, please email Emily on emily@oxfordwine.com \nWe are delighted to welcome Mike Waller\, winemaker at Calera Estate\, and Brian Bostwick of Duckhorn Estate\, to the Jericho Wine Rooms this May for a fascinating masterclass in celebration of Calera’s fiftieth anniversary. Matt and Brian will guide us through four Pinot Noirs and two Chardonnays at this event\, showcasing a variety of vintages and terroirs\, giving us a fascinating insight into this pioneering estate. \nHigh in the Gabilan Mountains of California’s Central Coast\, Calera stands as a beacon of winemaking excellence\, rooted in a rich history and a relentless pursuit of quality. Founded by the visionary Josh Jensen in 1974\, Calera\, which translates to “limekiln” in Spanish\, draws its name from the 19th-century limekiln found on its property. This historical marker symbolizes the limestone-rich soils that Jensen believed were essential for cultivating world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. \nJensen studied European History at Oxford University as well as completing a degree in anthropology at Yale before falling in love with winemaking in Burgundy. He brought the knowledge he gained at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Domaine Dujac back to California\, where he found similar soils on the remote\, limestone-laden slopes of Mt. Harlan. Despite scepticism from contemporaries who doubted the viability of viticulture in such an isolated and rugged location\, Jensen’s passion and determination led to the planting of Calera’s first 24 acres of Pinot Noir in 1975. \nThis promises to be an incredible event – book early to avoid disappointment! \nStay in the loop!\n[vc_raw_html]JTNDc3R5bGUlM0UlMEElMjAlMjAlMjNkcmlwLWVmLTU0NjgwOTM0NSUyMCU3QiUyMGZvbnQlM0ElMjAxcmVtJTJGMS41cmVtJTIwc2Fucy1zZXJpZiUzQiUyMHdpZHRoJTNBJTIwMTAwJTI1JTNCJTIwJTdEJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIzZHJpcC1lZi01NDY4MDkzNDUlMjAlN0IlMjBmb250LWZhbWlseSUzQSUyMCUyMk1lcnJpd2VhdGhlciUyMFNhbnMlMjIlMjAlN0QlMEElMjAlMjAlMjNkcmlwLWVmLTU0NjgwOTM0NSUyMGgzJTIwJTdCJTIwZm9udC1zaXplJTNBJTIwMS4xMjVyZW0lM0IlMjBtYXJnaW4lM0ElMjAwJTIwMCUyMC4zNzVyZW0lM0IlMjAlN0QlMEElMjAlMjAlMjNkcmlwLWVmLTU0NjgwOTM0NSUyMCUzRSUyMGRpdiUyMCU3QiUyMG1hcmdpbi1ib3R0b20lM0ElMjAxLjVyZW0lM0IlMjAlN0QlMEElMjAlMjAlMjNkcmlwLWVmLTU0NjgwOTM0NSUyMGZpZWxkc2V0JTIwJTdCJTIwYm9yZGVyJTNBJTIwbm9uZSUzQiUyMG1hcmdpbiUzQSUyMDAlM0IlMjBwYWRkaW5nJTNBJTIwMCUzQiUyMCU3RCUwQSUyMCUyMCUyM2RyaXAtZWYtNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTIwbGVnZW5kJTIwJTdCJTIwbWFyZ2luJTNBJTIwMCUzQiUyMHBhZGRpbmclM0ElMjAwJTNCJTIwJTdEJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIzZHJpcC1lZi01NDY4MDkzNDUlMjBpbnB1dCU1QnR5cGUlM0QlMjJlbWFpbCUyMiU1RCUyQyUwQSUyMCUyMCUyM2RyaXAtZWYtNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTIwaW5wdXQlNUJ0eXBlJTNEJTIybnVtYmVyJTIyJTVEJTJDJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIzZHJpcC1lZi01NDY4MDkzNDUlMjBpbnB1dCU1QnR5cGUlM0QlMjJ0ZWwlMjIlNUQlMkMlMEElMjAlMjAlMjNkcmlwLWVmLTU0NjgwOTM0NSUyMGlucHV0JTVCdHlwZSUzRCUyMnRleHQlMjIlNUQlMjAlN0IlMjBtYXJnaW4lM0ElMjAwJTNCJTIwcGFkZGluZyUzQSUyMC4zNzVyZW0lMjAuNTYyNXJlbSUzQiUyMHdpZHRoJTNBJTIwMTAwJTI1JTNCJTIwJTdEJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIzZHJpcC1lZi01NDY4MDkzNDUlMjBpbnB1dCU1QnR5cGUlM0QlMjJjaGVja2JveCUyMiU1RCUyQyUwQSUyMCUyMCUyM2RyaXAtZWYtNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTIwaW5wdXQlNUJ0eXBlJTNEJTIycmFkaW8lMjIlNUQlMjAlN0IlMjBtYXJnaW4lM0ElMjAuMTg3NXJlbSUyMC4xODc1cmVtJTIwMCUyMDAlM0IlMjBwYWRkaW5nJTNBJTIwMCUzQiUyMCU3RCUwQSUyMCUyMCUyM2RyaXAtZWYtNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTIwaW5wdXQlNUJ0eXBlJTNEJTIyc3VibWl0JTIyJTVEJTIwJTdCJTIwbWFyZ2luJTNBJTIwMCUzQiUyMHBhZGRpbmclM0ElMjAuMzc1cmVtJTIwLjU2MjVyZW0lM0IlMjAlN0QlMEElM0MlMkZzdHlsZSUzRSUwQSUwQSUzQ2Zvcm0lMjBhY3Rpb24lM0QlMjJodHRwcyUzQSUyRiUyRnd3dy5nZXRkcmlwLmNvbSUyRmZvcm1zJTJGNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTJGc3VibWlzc2lvbnMlMjIlMjBtZXRob2QlM0QlMjJwb3N0JTIyJTIwZGF0YS1kcmlwLWVtYmVkZGVkLWZvcm0lM0QlMjI1NDY4MDkzNDUlMjIlMjBpZCUzRCUyMmRyaXAtZWYtNTQ2ODA5MzQ1JTIyJTNFJTBBJTIwJTIwJTNDZGl2JTIwZGF0YS1kcmlwLWF0dHJpYnV0ZSUzRCUyMmRlc2NyaXB0aW9uJTIyJTNFJTNDc3Ryb25nJTNFTmV2ZXIlMjBtaXNzJTIwYSUyMHRhc3RpbmclMjBhZ2FpbiUyMSUzQyUyRnN0cm9uZyUzRSUzQ2JyJTNFJTBBJTNDYnIlM0UlMEFTaWduJTIwdXAlMjB0byUyMG91ciUyMG1haWxpbmclMjBsaXN0JTIwdG8lMjBiZSUyMHRoZSUyMGZpcnN0JTIwdG8lMjBoZWFyJTIwYWJvdXQlMjB0YXN0aW5nJTIwZXZlbnRzJTJDJTIwbmV3JTIwbGlzdGluZ3MlMjBhbmQlMjBzcGVjaWFsJTIwb2ZmZXJzLiUzQyUyRmRpdiUzRSUwQSUwQSUyMCUyMCUwQSUyMCUyMCUzQ2RpdiUzRSUwQSUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUzQ2xhYmVsJTIwZm9yJTNEJTIyZHJpcC1maXJzdC1uYW1lJTIyJTNFRmlyc3QlMjBOYW1lJTNDJTJGbGFiZWwlM0UlM0NiciUzRSUwQSUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUzQ2lucHV0JTIwdHlwZSUzRCUyMnRleHQlMjIlMjBpZCUzRCUyMmRyaXAtZmlyc3QtbmFtZSUyMiUyMG5hbWUlM0QlMjJmaWVsZHMlNUJmaXJzdF9uYW1lJTVEJTIyJTIwdmFsdWUlM0QlMjIlMjIlM0UlMEElMjAlMjAlM0MlMkZkaXYlM0UlMEElMEElMjAlMjAlM0NkaXYlM0UlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjAlMjAlMjAlM0NsYWJlbCUyMGZvciUzRCUyMmRyaXAtZW1haWwlMjIlM0VFbWFpbCUyMEFkZHJlc3MlM0MlMkZsYWJlbCUzRSUzQ2JyJTNFJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwJTNDaW5wdXQlMjB0eXBlJTNEJTIyZW1haWwlMjIlMjBpZCUzRCUyMmRyaXAtZW1haWwlMjIlMjBuYW1lJTNEJTIyZmllbGRzJTVCZW1haWwlNUQlMjIlMjB2YWx1ZSUzRCUyMiUyMiUzRSUwQSUyMCUyMCUzQyUyRmRpdiUzRSUwQSUwQSUwQSUyMCUyMCUzQ2RpdiUyMHN0eWxlJTNEJTIyZGlzcGxheSUzQSUyMG5vbmUlM0IlMjIlMjBhcmlhLWhpZGRlbiUzRCUyMnRydWUlMjIlM0UlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjAlM0NsYWJlbCUyMGZvciUzRCUyMndlYnNpdGUlMjIlM0VXZWJzaXRlJTNDJTJGbGFiZWwlM0UlM0NiciUzRSUwQSUyMCUyMCUyMCUyMCUzQ2lucHV0JTIwdHlwZSUzRCUyMnRleHQlMjIlMjBpZCUzRCUyMndlYnNpdGUlMjIlMjBuYW1lJTNEJTIyd2Vic2l0ZSUyMiUyMHRhYmluZGV4JTNEJTIyLTElMjIlMjBhdXRvY29tcGxldGUlM0QlMjJmYWxzZSUyMiUyMHZhbHVlJTNEJTIyJTIyJTNFJTBBJTIwJTIwJTNDJTJGZGl2JTNFJTBBJTIwJTIwJTBBJTIwJTIwJTNDZGl2JTNFJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwJTNDaW5wdXQlMjB0eXBlJTNEJTIyc3VibWl0JTIyJTIwdmFsdWUlM0QlMjJTaWduJTIwVXAlMjIlMjBkYXRhLWRyaXAtYXR0cmlidXRlJTNEJTIyc2lnbi11cC1idXR0b24lMjIlM0UlMEElMjAlMjAlM0MlMkZkaXYlM0UlMEElM0MlMkZmb3JtJTNFJTBB[/vc_raw_html]
