Join Katy Barker and Rebecca Preece at The Jericho Wine Rooms for an evening of exploration of the hinterland that exists between red and white wine – and no, we don’t just mean rosé! Orange wine, blanc de noir, serious rosé and crunchy, juicy, red are all features of this kaleidoscope of a tasting.
During our veritable voyage of discovery, we’ll be tasting six unique wines. We start with the Oliver Zeter Grauburgunder – a Pinot Gris from one of Germany’s most exciting producers. We’ll move on to a comparison of two orange wines – one in a new-wave Spanish style and one traditional example from Georgia, the home of the category. We’ll be making a stop in Greece for a blanc de noir – that’s a white wine made using red grapes (!) as well as tasting several other interesting and tasty bottles.
This is a tasting for the vino-curious – light-hearted, fun and above all delicious!
