We hold the highest respect for our customers and guarantee our commitment to your privacy. We do not sell any of the information provided by you to any other institutions. This privacy notice includes information about which data we as a company collect, how we handle and secure it, and what your rights are with regards to your personal information. This notice applies to customers who purchase via our online shop, credit account customers, and mailing list subscribers.

For customers registered with our online shop, we store the following information. Please note that we only store information that you as a customer provide us with. You are under no obligation to provide us with this information.

Use of cookies and other technologies

We use cookies to track your movement around our website. These are small text files stored on your computer. Cookies allow us to process online orders, as well as to track trends. We only use tracking information internally, to improve how our website works. We do not share any of our cookie data, except by making use of Google Analytics. How we use and protect personal data

We use personal information for the following purposes:

Our legal basis for holding personal information on our customers is contract for the duration of the sales process. When the contract has been fulfilled, our basis is legitimate interest: we hold data to improve our services, and for ease of future purchases. Our legal basis for holding personal information on our mailing list subscribers is consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us by phone, email or post.

We treat personal data confidentially, and only share it when necessary to provide our services. The only time we will share any personal data we hold is to share names and addresses with an external courier company when required to make deliveries.

We also share names and email addresses with our mailing list client, Drip.

All personal data relating to our customers is stored on our own closed company database. All personal data relating to our mailing list subscribers is stored with our mail client Campaign Monitor. You can see their privacy policy here: https://www.campaignmonitor.com/trust/

All digitally held data is password protected and accessible only to company employees. It is held on a closed secure system, which utilises end to end encryption. All staff members are trained on our data protection policies. All data is backed up to a secure location every 24 hours.

Basic customer contact details are held for ten years. Purchase history is deleted after two years. Mailing list subscribers are removed after one year of inactivity.

You may access your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will correct or delete your personal data at any time on receiving your instruction to do so. Mailing list subscribers may withdraw their consent for their personal data to be held at any time by contacting us or by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email.
