The nation of Georgia is, arguably, the birthplace of wine and still today holds huge cultural and economic importance for the country. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, there’s been a growing movement cultivated by passionate producers seeking to combine ancient heritage with modern winemaking techniques. The result today is a plethora of fabulous styles each with their own distinct story and character.
Join us for an evening of discovery as we explore Georgian wine and culture by tasting through six examples of the finest this country has to offer. We’ll sample whites, reds, ambers and maybe even something sparkling. This is definitely not one you’re going to want to miss!
