There is just so much to love about South African wine at the moment. A spectacular diversity of climatic conditions and grape varieties gives rise to huge variety, and a real sense of energy and passion means the wines are often of utterly stellar quality.

Nobody knows this better than Sebastian Rezek and Matthew Appelbaum, two South Africans living in the UK. They wanted to share their passion for premium South African wine, and as such set up their own importing company – RAKQ – in 2020. We absolutely love the RAKQ philosophy, which aims to share delicious, interesting wines, while telling the stories behind them.

Sebastian and Matthew are bringing six of their favourite wines to this tasting, covering a range of different styles, but all sharing one thing: quality.

Cancellation policy:

If you have purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event for a full refund. If you inform us later than this we will only issue a refund if we are able to resell your tickets. In the unlikely event that a tasting is cancelled by OWC, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.

We regret that due to the character of the building, this tasting is not accessible to wheelchair users.
