The Negroni cocktail is undoubtedly number one on the homemade cocktail list right now.  This has lead to an awakening of interest in the Amaro category, particularly when it comes to Italian spirits like Cynar, Campari and Fernet.  There remains, however, an air of mystery as to what exactly these intoxicating beverages actually are. 

Join us in the Turl Street Cellar for a truly bittersweet experience as we taste through six delicious Italian herbal liqueurs from Sicily to the Alps. We’ll discuss culture, history, cocktails and get a geeky looking at production methods and techniques. 

This is the perfect tasting for anyone curious about this wonderful spirit category, what it’s like, how it’s made and how best to enjoy it.

Cancellation policy:

If you have purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event for a full refund. If you inform us later than this we will only issue a refund if we are able to resell your tickets. In the unlikely event that a tasting is cancelled by OWC, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.

We regret that due to the character of the building, this tasting is not accessible to wheelchair users.
