A World Tour of Whiskies

The tasting cellar at Turl Street is open for business and we’re delighted to announce our first in a series of spirits tastings! This month we’re focusing on one of our favourite categories moving beyond the familiar classics and shining a light on emerging and established whisky regions alike.

We’ll take a trip through Europe before jumping on a plane (the imaginary kind) and exploring much further afield before finishing back at home with an example from The Oxford Artisan Distillery. We’ll be looking at production methods, processes and culture, distinguishing what each region brings to whisky that makes it unique to that part of the world.
