School’s out! The 2023/4 academic year is just ending and we’ve just had our busiest year yet.
2024 has seen an increase in courses offered by The Oxford Wine School in response to increasing demand as our reputation grows on the back of our consistently high pass rates at all 3 WSET levels.
Many of our students have been wine enthusiasts looking to expand their knowledge. We’ve also had several high-profile hospitality businesses coming to us for staff training. In recent months we’ve run dedicated courses at Level 2 (for the group that includes Quod and Old Parsonage) and Level 1 (for Thyme in Lechlade) as well as attracting students to our scheduled courses from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, The Swan at Islip, The Back Lane Tavern of Woodstock, Pompette, The Nut Tree Murcott, The White Hart Fyfield, The Swan at Swinbrook and many more.
We’ve also seen an increase from many Oxford University college catering teams – Magdalen, Pembroke, Corpus Christi, Oriel, St Johns and Queen’s to name just a few.
This year’s summer school (Intensive Level 2) in early July, was an even bigger success than in 2023. We had a 100% pass rate that included 12 passes with Distinction!
