We are very much looking forward to welcoming Sami Ghosn to Oxford for an evening exploring the wines of Massaya.
The story began after Lebanon’s civil war, when Sami and his brother Ramzi returned to their family estate at Tanaïl in the Bekaa Valley and set about bringing the abandoned property back to life.
The brothers teamed up with respected French wine families, drawing on expertise from Bordeaux and the Rhône, as they established Massaya as a premium Lebanese wine producer.
We will taste six wines exploring Massaya’s vineyards from the Bekaa Valley to high-altitude Mount Lebanon and finishing with a taste of arak, the traditional Lebanese anise-flavoured spirit distilled from grapes. We can’t wait!
The tasting will begin at 7:30pm, but please feel free to arrive from 7:15pm.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building, this is not accessible by wheelchair.
If you have any questions, please contact Clare Lobo – clare@oxfordwine.com
We hope to see you there!
