A Jamaican Rum Masterclass with Dean MacGregor

It’s hard to discuss rum culture in the Caribbean without mentioning the wonderful world of rum from Jamaica.  There’s so much incredible liquid coming out of this island from just six distilleries.  While ‘funk’ is the term most would use to describe the style of Jamaican rum, this does no justice to the impact imparted from soil and climate to the complexities of production and maturation. 

Join us for a very special tasting hosted by Dean MacGregor, Rum Portfolio Ambassador for Speciality Brands, as we explore six expressions of Jamaican Rum.  The renowned Hampden Estate will be well represented along with one or two other special releases from elsewhere on the island.  Included in the lineup will be a couple of so-called ‘unicorn’ bottles that you’ll very rarely see on a shop shelf or even online.  With just twelve spots available for this one we recommend booking now to avoid missing out.

If you have purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event for a full refund. If you inform us later than this we will only issue a refund if we are able to resell your tickets. In the unlikely event that a tasting is cancelled by OWC, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.
