This is a repeat of the tasting we held on 27th September 2024.

The world of Mexican spirits is in a state of cultural revolution. The booming popularity of both the tequila and mezcal categories has shone a light, not just on the celebrity brands, but also on the country’s artisanal producers. At the Oxford Wine Company, this is a category we love as we’ve slowly begun to craft a selection of Mexican spirits produced by forward thinking, eco-conscious, progressive distilleries. 

Join Tom Brady, category judge for agave spirits at the IWSC Awards 2024, for this very special event where we’ll taste six expressions from six progressive tequila and mezcal producers. We’ll focus on the people behind the labels and discuss production at all stages from the gruelling work in the fields, to the cosmic soup of fermentation and the magic of distillation. Cancellation policy:

If you have purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event for a full refund. If you inform us later than this we will only issue a refund if we are able to resell your tickets. In the unlikely event that a tasting is cancelled by OWC, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.

We regret that due to the character of the building, this tasting is not accessible to wheelchair users.
