Tanlines? Overrated. Tannins…yes please! A word regularly used in the world of wine but what are they?! If you want to sound like a pro, join Katy and Bec as they take a deep dive into what tannins are, where they come from, and how they are used in wine.
They will be taking you through examples that show ‘phenolic texture’, ‘grippy mouthfeel’, and ‘firm structure’. The wines will range from white, to amber, to red, and while tasting we will be considering their structure and what choices a winemaker has made to influence this.
As always with Katy and Bec, this is a relaxed, fun, vino-curious environment. Just some wine lovers having a chat and tasting some delicious wines!
