From chillable reds, refreshing sparkling wines as well as a local gin, there is something new to discover for every palate this June!

Domaine Des Marrans Pétillant Naturel NV – £23.50

A Pét-Nat from Beaujolais which offers a naturally sparkling style that’s fresh, lively, and perfect for easy, joyful drinking. Expect juicy red berries, orchard fruits, and a touch of citrus zest, all carried by a gentle fizz and vibrant acidity.

Neil Ellis Short Left Cinsault 2021- £15.00

A wonderfully fresh Cinsault from South Africa- packed with vibrant red berry flavours, including cranberry, raspberry, and wild strawberry.

Chateau Cos d’Estournel ‘Les Pagodes de Cos’ Saint-Estephe 2020 – £65.00

The exceptional second wine of Cos d’Estournel made with the same care and precision as its Grand Vin. Aged in French oak for 12 months, 25% of which is new, from a stellar 2020 vintage. Rich blackcurrant and plum notes are layered with hints of cedar, graphite, and exotic spices.

Ardnamurchan AD The Midgie Batch Two – £60

The latest release from Ardnamurchan matured in bourbon barrels, port barriques and sherry casks and is mostly unpeated spirit, only 25% is peated. Notes of grilled pineapple, strawberry jam, pears, wildflowers, lemon thyme , sultanas and pink peppercorns leading to a sweet and salty finish. A distillery worth checking out for fans of Oban.

Ariousios Natural Chiotiko, Chios 2015 – £26.50

A Greek red from the local variety Chiotiko Krassero, which is a minimal-intervention wine with no added sulphites. Bursting with vibrant red cherry, wild herbs with a touch of spice, this wine would be a good alternative to a Beaujolais or Pinot Noir and would be great served chilled!

Pago de Tharsys Dominio Requena Cava Brut Nature NV, Utiel Requena – £15.75

A zero-dosage Cava from an artisanal producer. Lively citrus, green apple, and white blossom notes lead to a clean, bone-dry mineral finish. Aged on the lees for 12 months providing a biscuity character .

Chopin Potato Vodka – £42

A Polish potato vodka that has a reputation as being one of the best vodkas on the market. Distilled 4 times- it takes 5kg of potatoes to craft each bottle! Hints of green apple, citrus, hazelnuts and grass all wrapped in a creamy, rich mouthfeel and a black pepper finish.

Barbadillo Criadera Palo Cortado En Rama – £22.00

Unfined and unfiltered, layers of toasted nuts, dried citrus peel, subtle spice and a touch of saline minerality, with a silky, dry finish.

Break Free Wines Little Wing Carbonic Shiraz Noir 2022 – £19.75

A vibrant juicy chillable red with grapes picked from Adelaide Hills and South Australia, bottled with no fining or filtration. Full of cherries, plums, floral notes and a touch of spice. 

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 – £70

The third annual release of Lochlea’s Cask Strength and the first time they have introduced peat. Matured in a combination of oloroso sherry butts and Islay peated casks, expect waves of baked apple, toffee, spiced orange, and toasted oak, balanced by a subtle cereal sweetness. 

Isle of Raasay ‘Arbikie Barley’ Release- £75

Isle of Raasay’s newest release which is unpeated. Made with Concerto barley from the Arbikie Highland Estate- located on the east coast of Scotland. Matured in Ex Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey Casks and is bottled at just under 6 years old. Vibrant flavours such as banana, stewed fruits, gingerbread, caramel, brown sugar and mint chocolate.

Oxford Dry Gin – £39.75

Oxford Dry Gin is a delightfully floral gin distilled with locally grown lavender. This unique blend offers a delicate, aromatic flavour that’s refreshingly smooth.
