We were delighted to welcome Georgi Panayotov, Co-Owner of the brilliant specialist wine merchant ‘The Jolly Merchants’. Georgi has decades of experience in the wine trade, and being a Bulgarian national himself was perfectly positioned to take us through the past, present and future of Bulgarian wine. Our group enjoyed six fantastic wines, ranging from pét nat, rosé and chillable red, before finishing on a delicious surprise with a secret Riesling Ice Wine.
