We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Olive Hamilton Russell to The Jericho Wine Rooms this September for what promises to be a stellar tasting of one of South Africa’s most lauded estates.

Hamilton Russell are specialists in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, located in Hemel-en-Aarde. Here, maritime influence and southerly latitude create the perfect cool climate for elegant wines of immense quality. The estate was established in 1975 by Tim Hamilton Russell and is responsible for pioneering the reputation of not only Hemel-en-Aarde but the South African wine scene as a whole. Now in the hands of the next generation, Olive and Anthony, Hamilton Russell continues to impress critics and capture the attention of wine drinkers around the world.

Alongside the Hamilton Russell Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, we will be sampling two wines each from sister estates Southern Right and Ashbourne. Neighbouring Hamilton Russell itself and under the ownership of Olive and Anthony, these are also high-quality cool-climate vineyards, but focusing on different grape varieties.

If you have purchased tickets to an event but can no longer attend, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event for a full refund. If you inform us later than this we will only issue a refund if we are able to resell your tickets. In the unlikely event that a tasting is cancelled by OWC, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.

We regret that due to the character of the building, this tasting is not accessible to wheelchair users.
