We are delighted to present you with an invitation to a masterclass with the wonderful Kit Weaver of renowned Port producer Quinta de la Rosa. Let us transport you to the Douro on a cold November night with a true insight into the stories, winemaking techniques and terroirs that shape Quinta de la Rosa’s excellent range.
Having spent much of his youth at his family’s winery, La Rosa, in the heart of the Douro Valley, Kit Weaver grew up immersed in both winemaking and the region’s rich traditions. After gaining experience through harvests in Chile, Portugal, and South Africa, he joined Quinta de la Rosa in 2019 to work alongside his mother, Sophia, and now serves as Head of Sales. In addition to his role in selling wine, Kit has been a driving force in bringing a fresh perspective to the estate. He has played a key part in launching La Rosa’s less traditional ventures, including La Rosa Brewing.
The tasting will consist of six wines, a white, a red and a selection of ports, all showcasing the quality and excellence of the estate. See you there!
