We are honoured to present you with the opportunity to attend a very special tasting this June. Baptiste Belly of the prestigious Bordeaux estate Cos d’Estournel will be visiting The Jericho Wine Rooms to host a masterclass featuring seven wines from the estate.
We will taste two vintages each of G d’Estournel, Pagodes de Cos, and of course the Cos d’Estournel Grand Vin. We’ll also taste the Château Cos Labory 2018.
Our host Baptiste is a native of Corrèze, France, who grew up in the heart of an ancient wine-growing region, where his grandfather cultivated hybrid grape varieties. His passion for wine first took root during his business studies in Germany, sparked by a classic moment: being ‘the French guy’ asked to bring the wine to an international dinner. That simple gesture ignited a lifelong curiosity for the stories, culture, and craft behind every bottle.
Following a formative experience as a winegrower with the Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France, Baptiste honed his craft over three years at Château Pipeau in Saint-Émilion. Thanks to his dedication and perseverance, he joined the prestigious estates of Cos d’Estournel and Cos Labory at just 27 years old, taking on the role of European and UK Sales Manager.
